Ship repair is their passion. Their mission is to do this in a technically correct, safe and efficient way. While doing so, they protect the interests of their clients and the short communication lines between clients and management assure an effective approach.

Only by delivering a perfect job one can succeed in his mission. Therefore, at Shipyard Reimerswaal, everybody is aware of the fact that good cooperation leads to great results. Customers who are satisfied are pleased to come back.

The yard was established in 1985. Originally located on the border of the West Scheldt River, they carried out a wide variety of different repairs on our slipways. In the beginning mostly fishing ships and inland navigation vessels found their way to this yard. In 1990 they opened a branch at the Kanaal door Zuid-Beveland. Here they were able to use floating docks.

Nowadays, the location on the banks of the West Scheldt River is closed down. At the current location there are two floating docks, layby and repair berths and a well equipped workshop. Apart of the activities at the yard, Shipyard Reimerswaal also carries out port repairs in the Scheldt area (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp), but also abroad. In the Baltic Sea region they cooperate with a Polish shipyard for port and voyage repairs.
