Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is a diverse, family owned business with 125 years of experience; offering such services as ship repair, ship building and offshore fabrication.
Located on the East coast of North America with its base in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Irving Shipbuilding is easily reachable from major international shipping routes.

Halifax Shipyard is one of two companies engaged in Ship Repair and conversion. Three docks including one panamax and one graving dock, together with a comprehensive array of fabrication shops, outfit shops, machine shop and an extensive local sub-contractor community provide all the necessary capability to undertake a wide range of jobs. This facility also builds new offshore vessels, military vessels and small cruise vessels up to 120m in length and 22m breadth and has built many vessels within this size.

Shelburne Ship Repair is the other ship repair facility and operates a 122m marine railway bearing ships up to 3,048t. This yard carries out a number of different jobs from small to large afloat work on their 752m extensive wharf age areas.

East Isle Shipyard this is a dedicated yard where the only product is a successful z-drive tug. Although this Irving Tug was originally designed to provide an all-round capability for ship assist and coastal towing work, considerable customer-driven product development has resulted in a modular tug design capable of being customized to suit almost any towing task.
